I pre-ordered the i5-10600K on B&H Photo for $299 + tax (~$317).
I'm also planning on getting the Gigabyte Z490 Gaming X ATX mobo (~$179.99). This board only has PCIe 4.0 lanes which I believe is backwards compatible with 3.0. I plan on using only 3.0 compatible PCIe cards on the board, including the graphics card. But, first, would there be any compatibility issues or other problems with the CPU since the board is equipped with only 4.0 lanes. let alone those lanes holding 3.0 compatible components? I know this CPU does not support the new 4.0 standard, hence my question. Thanks.
