I have a be quiet! 600W cable with a 90 degree connector, so I should be able to connect it in either direction, right? It plugged in just fine, so there shouldn't be any issues, but I want to make sure that thre isn't something else with these connectors just in case.
Connector

I really hope nVidia fixes this connector before the 6000 series.

For the sake of relevance, you should mention the model of your Be Quiet! PSU and it's age. To add, It's not omnidirectional like a USB-Type C cable. Per my educated guess, the connector will only go in one way on the PSU and the GPU's ends, respectively.

People all across the www have stated that their perfectly seated connector for the 12VHPWR/12v-2x6 still met the dreaded melted connector fate. The true cause of the issue has been showcased by multiple investigative tech journalism outlets but a fully seated connector melting is yet baffling many.

I really hope nVidia fixes this connector before the 6000 series.
They have more pressing matters to tend to, like AI, AI, AI, AI, AI(it's a running joke by Steve over on Gamers Nexus).
