[SOLVED] Is it ok to do other things while formatting a second 8TB HDD for 16 hours? (Windows 10 Pro)

Hi all! Is it ok to do other things on my pc (i.e. surfing the web) while it's formatting a second 8TB HDD which takes approx 15-16 hours?! (I have Windows 10 Pro and an SSD as my system disk) - I need to perform a standard format (and not a quick one) to make sure it scans it for any bad sectors. Thank you!

Sure.
Just don't do anything that would try to scan for or access an unformatted disk. No disk utilities and such.
