So, one of my hdds are failing. I dont give a shit about it and it is currently empty and am im not even able to format and set it up as it produces an error in diskmanagement. It is wiped and currently unallocated, If i leave it in and unused will it damage or corrupt other parts in my pc? I dont like to open my pc and mess with stuff as i have bad anxiety.

Is it ok to just leave it in there if it is empty and unused?

I'd disconnect it. Windows can hang and stutter with trying to access it every now and then. For example, when you open the "This PC" window to view all connected storage devices. The file search daemon might hit the wall as a background process as it attempts to catalog it.

Just pull the SATA cable and/or power cable.

But besides that, it's not going to corrupt or damage anything.
