Thanks for the input. Im not wanting to process anything, what Im trying to do is get power to the case i have done this as a test with another computer, a junky one. What I did was set the junky pc next to my new one and ran the 24 pin power plug to it and ran everything else to the stuff in my new case, fan controller, lights, toggle switch bay, ect. The thing is the junker still has the cpu in it. Was just wondering if this same setup would work if the cpu wasnt in there or if it did work was it bad for the motherboard. Just trying to find a way to test the psu and other components without messing up the mobo. Does anybody know if there is a way to maybe bypass the mobo and still power the case, that way I dont have to have the junk pc wired to it and in the way. Thanks for the replys and I appreciate any help I get.
