Is it ok to run CPU at 80-87C for 5 min?

Cpu- ryzen 5 2600 paired with stock cooler
Ambient temp:- 30c
While rendering application my cpu hits 86c max. Although rendering doesn't last more than 5 min i'm concerned about health of cpu.

You're on edge in terms of thermal throttling, but it shouldn't cause any damage.

If your only doing it in 5 minute bursts. Should be ok. Especially at stock. If overclocked, then I wouldn't risk it. (Because CPUs can tolerate slightly higher temps if you use low voltages.)

5 minute is short period. You should not damage your cpu with that temp. But still, look overs temps, u are very near to critical temps
