Hello,

This is my desktop: http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=1014159132R&vpn=PT.SHAP2.017&manfuacture=ACER

And I changed the PSU and GPU to EVGA 650 GS andd MSI GTX 970, respectively.

While changing the PSU, I realized that the case fan was actually dedicated to the OEM PSU that came with the desktop. So when I took off the old PSU, I also had to remove the fan with it. So my
desktop is now fan less and I was wondering if this is ok?

Does the new PSU not have a fan? On less powerful systems, often the PSU fan is enough. With a 970 GTX though, I think you're gonna need a case fan or two.

Monitor the HDD temps too, not just the CPU and GPU temps. HDDs need airflow over them to keep cool. They don't need much airflow, but I tried running one once outside the case without any airflow, and after a couple hours of copying it shut down after hitting what I later determined was 60 C. (SMART recorded it, and never let me forget it as the NAS I put the drive into refused to use the "failing" drive.)
