Question Is it ok to use a 4 pin CPU connector from PSU on a mobos 6 pin CPU insert?

Make and model of your motherboard? Make and model of your PSU and it's age?

Note: If you PSU doesn't have the necessary connectors for your components, you either have the wrong components or you have the wrong PSU for the job.
