Is it ok to use a microfiber cloth to clean the inside of a pc?

And is it ok to do it to the outside as well? Because I know you should use compressed air, but can you also use a microfiber cloth?

I suspect that could generate a lot of static electricity, I wouldn't advice it.

ESD would certainly be likely if you used a microfibre cloth on the inside, plus it would be nowhere near as efficient as compressed air for shifting all the accumulated dust in the fan housings and between components. You can't beat a can of compressed air for doing that thoroughly and safely.
