I'm planing to buy a Gigabyte GTX 1050 OC edition and unfortunately I don;t have a HDMI port n my monitor. I was wondering what's the best solution for this and which converter should I use?

Solution

Msi Radeon R9 270 has DVI-I port, that outputs also analog signal. So cheap passive adapter can be used there.

Gigabyte Gigabyte GTX 1050 OC doesn't have DVI-I connector. Only DVI-D, HDMI and DP ports. So cheap passive adapter can't be used there. You have to use active converter.
