[SOLVED] Is it okay for a power supply fan to be elevated above carpet?

I put together a PC for my brother. The power supply fan is facing downward. He's keeping it on a board below his desk, but the case itself is bigger than the board, so the ends hang off, including where the power supply ventilation is. It's not touching carpet, but it's right above it, so I just wanna make sure it's nothing to worry about. I'm assuming it's fine as long as it isn't physically on the carpet, but I'm paranoid

If it doesnt have direct contact with the carpet,ur all good.
As long as there is a board under the psu,there is nothing to worry about.

While not optimal(for cleanliness), it will be fine as long as there is sufficient space between the carpet and fan give or take 5 cm, I'd also make sure there is a dust filter to take the worst of the dust bunnies!
