[SOLVED] Is it okay if GPU backplate is touching contacting SATA connector?

So I bought a new SSD and had to buy a 90 degree SATA cable as the MOBO sata connector is under the GPU. Is it alright if the backplate of the GPU is touching the SATA cable connector?
GPU temps never go above 60c, just wanted to be sure it wouldn't melt it or anything.
