Is it okay to have one m.2 and one u.2 ssd drives at the same time?

I'm planning to build my custom gaming rig and I wanted to know if it is okay to have a m.2 Samsung 256gb 950 pro NVM express internal ssd drive and a u.2 Intel 2.5" 400gb 750 series NVM express internal ssd drive to be running at the same time, is it okay or bad?

If you have a board that supports it sure why not.

Just make sure that the board supports it, my Z170-WS only supports and/OR for the second M.2 slot. So I can either run the second M.2 or the U.2 but not both. Since the price of U.2 is so high and hard to come by I went with a second M.2 950 Pro 512 in slot 2.
