[SOLVED] Is it okay to leave headphones pluggged in?

I have a hyper x cloud stinger and I was wondering if it is okay to leave my headphones plugged in all the time because I have heard leaving your headphones plugged in could destroy them upon turning on the computer but I also wondered wouldnt the constant plugging in and out of the headphones break the jack?

First i heard of that, ignore it. Your headphones are fine being permanently plugged.

And yes, wear on the plug from reconnecting is more of an issue than dealing with the tiniest tiniest amount of power derived from the audio jack.

Plugging in of headphones all the time mostly doesn't do any harm to it. Instead constant replugging might damage it like you said.
