Is it okay to plug-unplug usb mouse every day?

Don't know where to post this but i have a silly question.My cat likes to bite mouse wire for some reason,so is it ok to plug-unplug usb mouse every day before go sleep so it can be safe at night? (I would have to do that for the next 20 days until i move pc in other room)

yeah, I've done that with my deathadder 2013 edition and it works fine, been doing it like 3 days for every week past 3 months. Sometimes it just takes a while for it to be working again, like 1-2mins, but it won't damage it

Yeah that isn't a problem! You can remove and insert it back as many times as you want Just be sure when removing, to pull it out straight, as well as pull from the base of the USB mouse (so it doesn't damage the wire).
Just be careful and you won't see any issues!

in the short run it wont hurt it no. Over a very long period of time it put wear and tear on the connector but even this is just a possibility and not a positive because I have various USB mice and keyboards that I have pluged and unplugged dozens and dozens of times when testing PCs.

Take a paper towl and soak it in white vinegar then rub the cord down. your cat will leave it alone.
