Is it okay to run GPU fan at 70%?

Is it okay to run the fan on my MSI GTX 970 at 70% only while gaming?
Gaming isn't all I do on my computer, so no, it will not be 24/7.
I game probably a few hours out of every day.
This brings down my temps in gpu intensive games.

Yes. If its the Gaming version it'll cut out under 60C.

You can also make a fan profile in Afterburner that will you can change so it cuts in at 50C and work its way up to 30% at 60C then 50% at 65C and 70% at 70C and 90% at 75C and 100% at 80C and over. Or whatever you want.

Its not the gaming 4g one. I figured 70% wasn't too much I just wanted second opinion.
Is 72c max in unigine valley benchmark 1920x1080 Ultra 2xAA Full screen good?

70% fan speed is high. Mine run at 10% idle and 30% gaming.

72C in valley is good.

So then should I just leave it on auto?
On auto I hit like 75c on valley is the extra fan speed even worth the couple degrees?

Valley is a stress test. If you get 75C in Valley, you'll only get 65C max gaming. So the fan will run at 50% or so then. Not 70%
