I have Gigabyte 3x windforce 780 ti oc gpu. and one of the fan died last night (middle fan). So now i got only two fans running in both sides . So i'm wondering beside the lower cooling performance , would it be alright to run a gpu with one of it's three fans removed? or would it cause any malfunction?

I don't think that it would cause anything major, as long as the connection is still connected, I don't think it would make much of a difference while operating,

Personally, I would test it.

Maybe try booting up, see if there's any issues. If there isn't, try running something to stress the GPU, such as 3DMark 11, or any other GPU testing software.

And if no issues pop up, you should be fine.

Fans are running too much faster (same result after unistalled the gpu utility). In safe mode fans are fine and spinning silently. But while starting the pc in normal mode Fans goings crazy fast almost like 20% more faster than it's manual max speed.
