Is it okay to touch motherboard as long as I'm grounded?

Is it okay for me to touch any part of my motherboard or any other component (aside from the gold bits) as long as I'm grounded? I touched my motherboard in a bunch of areas but I grounded myself by touching my PSU immediatly beforehand.

This will only generate a debate so I will only tell you my PERSONAL experience.

Never have I ever fried anything, just ground yourself, I never used an anti static wristband in my life.

If you've ever been to a true tech store and watched how they handle motherboards, you would be mortified. I believe you and your motherboard are just fine. Just don't rub your feet on the carpet for 2 minutes and immediately touch the MB. :lol:

Just try avoid touching any solder joints underneath and keep to the PCB itself or anything chunky above like heatsinks etc.
