The PC is always being used for games wether its me or someone else, So roughly 8 hours a day.

Will this shorten the lifespan of the card? or the fans only? and by how much?

My idle temp on the top card is 45-50c, and when gaming its 75-85c, I also have a Zalman Z1 case which is terrible and doesn't offer much option to add new fans, and I use a stock cooler for my CPU (65-78c gaming), so the extra cool air would be very beneficial.

Also I don't care about the noise, and I have a 850w PSU.

All answers are appreciated.

No problems. Are you running the fans on Auto? If not, you should since the card is designed to run at 80c. Forcing a higher fan speed might not be necessary.

I have EVGA SLI GTX 970s as well. I have my fans running at 75% when the card reaches 70 degrees. The fans are designed to run at 100%. They shouldn't lower the lifespan of the card. You'll be buying a new card before the fans die.

Running at 100% fan speed does not reduce the lifespan of your chipset. But it will reduce the lifespan of the fan.

How much I dont know, but it will reduce it. The MTBF aint given at 100% speed.

You need to get a performance sheet over the fans.
