Hi Guys ,
I am running win2k Server with cable connection. Is it possible for a remote machine running Win98 to dial in to this server and access the net ? kindly help.

Yes you can set up the RAS service, and set up dial up networking on with win98 box. Im not shure of the specifics but all the pieces are there. My friend did it on a nt4 workstation box about a year ago, so i know you can do it with 2k server. You may need to use internet connection sharing, and have the 2k box give an IP to the win98 box, kinda like a NAT setup.

I have the same setup at home; I want a win98 machine to get internet through my win2k machine...
2 questions:
~what's "RAS" ?

~will my ISP see the win98 machine when using internet sharing?

Look in the help file for Internet connection sharing and it will tell you have to set it up on windows 2000 server. Also you can do a search for NAT.
Good Luck...
