I have had a desktop with me for awhile and recently it started to randomly turn off, usually overnight.

When it does this it cannot be turned on again until the power cable is unplugged for a while then plugged back in. Leading me initially to suspect an issue with the power supply or the cable.

Except in the process of trying to solve this I have replace the power supply 3 times and the cable 4 times to no effect.
I have also tried to no apparent effect:
-different sockets
-different internal power cables
-changed the graphics card
-even changed the entire motherboard and processor.

The only thing that has remained constant are the storage drives on the machine with the OS and files, one SSD and one HDD. It will be a lot harder to change these and reinstall everything and I just don't understand how these could be the source of what appears to be a power supply issue.
Everything online I can find seems to resolve the issue at any of the above steps I have tried.
