I've had this PC for a long time, and I'm getting infuriated on how my GPU is. Is it possible for me to replace my integrated GPU and replace it with something else?

If I am understanding your question correctly, it depends on your motherboard.

Your Intel Core I3-4170 CPU provides you with integrated HD Graphics 4400. If you were to install a discrete graphics card (NVidia GTX or AMD RX) into the PCI-Ex16 slot of your motherboard, your integrated HD Graphics 4400 would probably be disabled and no longer function on their own. You'd use the graphic card outputs instead.

However, on some motherboards, there is a setting in BIOS that allows you to re-enable the integrated graphics even if a discrete graphics card is installed. We would need to know the exact model number of your motherboard in order to say for sure.

Its integrated into your CPU, makes it a matter of replacing CPU to get a better HD model. And that depends on what you are using as to whether thats possible.

Iis this a laptop? If its not, you could get a normal GPU made by Nvidia or AMD

what are you using now?

It's not a laptop, a desktop. If I were to buy something like a GTX, I'm not sure if it would fit in my PC Box. Like I don't know if there's a slot left. If it were to not fit is it possible to make it function outside of the box?

Revolution3299 I have some follow-up questions, because I really want to help you. What games do you plan to play? What is your upgrade budget? Are you indeed in the US? What is your precise model of Lenovo desktop? examples of model numbers below.

Lenovo Desktop Computer IdeaCentre 300s-08IHH
Lenovo Desktop Computer S500 (10HS007RUS)

Here are the reasons for my questions: Knowing at least two or three games that you wish to play would give us an idea of what type of hardware you're looking at. The budget would be helpful because in addition to a new graphics card, you very likely should upgrade your RAM to get the full benefits from a new graphics card. The model number of the Lenovo desktop would be very helpful because it would tell us the wattage of your power supply, as well as if the existing power supply is standard ATX form factor, as well as whether a normal size graphics card would fit inside the case, or whether a low profile was a necessity.
