is it possible if I install 8gb ram on dual core e5500

I have an Pentium dual core e5500 @2.80Ghz can I install 8gb ram on my PC? Is this useful for me ?

The CPU is only part of the specification here. But yes, the E5500 can take 8GB RAM. How much RAM you can have will also depend on:

- Your motherboard (number of slots, and maximum capacity)

Yes it will compared to 2Gb for example as most computer operating systems use and need 4GB to preform adequately and most programs like games need 2-4gb additional ram to run themselves properly.
