Is it possible to get 144hz using my laptop (Acer Predator Helios 300) to my 144hz Benq XL2411 monitor?

At the moment I have a hdmi 2.0 cable going from my laptop into a hdmi to dvi-d converter which is in the monitors dvi-d slot. With this setup I can only select 60hz.

Is there any configuration of hardware/cables that can be used that will allow me to connect my laptop to my monitor and use 144hz?

Solution
The only way to connect to the XL2411Z at 144 Hz is with a Dual-Link DVI cable or a DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Active adapter. If your computer does not have a DVI port or a DisplayPort port, then it is impossible to get more than 60 Hz on that monitor.
