Is it possible to add a GTX 1050 (or 1050 ti) to a Lenovo Thinkcentre?

I can buy a Lenovo PC for very cheap, with an i5 2400 in it. That may not seem very good, but I can always upgrade to an i7 2600, and I don't play games that require more than a laptop processor. They do, however, need a good GPU. That's why I want to do this. However, I've read things about OEM motherboards not providing 75 watts through a PCI-E x16 slot like a normal one. That means no matter what PSU I stick inside the computer, a GPU would never work. I want to know if this specific model has that problem: Lenovo ThinkCentre M71e.

The 1050/ti doesn't need connectors so the 75w should work however if you have a legacy motherboard the gpu probably wont work as it has no uefi

Since the PC in question is refurbished, this is actually about $200 cheaper than if I were to build one myself, plus I'm clumsy, so building one myself would add more risks for the extra cost.
