[SOLVED] is it possible to adjust USB 5V Fan speed on laptop cooling pad with any program?

Hello,
I have cooling pad with 2 small fans connected to the USB port of my laptop Lenovo T420. The fans are too loud unfortunately.
is it possible to adjust USB 5V Fan speed on laptop cooling pad with any program?
Tried SpeedFan, HW Monitor and a few other programs but cannot see an option to adjust the RPM of the USB fans. saw only for the CPU fan etc. in these programs.
I do not want physical adapter. i need a program for Windows and direction which menu and setting to open.

No. USB outputs 5V. That is what the fans are running on, there is no software adjustment for USB voltage.

You can add some resistors to the fans, or replace the fans with quieter ones.

It's likely those USB fans are only using USB for power. So you'll never be able to control them.
