Is it possible to assign which drive has the Desktop?

Typically the Desktop (C:>Users>Account Name>Desktop) location is on the harddrive the OS is installed to.

But Ive been thinking of getting an SSD and the problem is it simply wont be as big as my HHDs, so I was wondering if it was possible to install the OS on the SSD and then assign the Desktop location to another drive?

I may be one of the few, but I like to put a majority of my programs/files straight on to desktop.

To the best of my knowledge you can't anymore since windows xp.

Go to C:\Users\username right click the folder and go to the location tab. You will notice that tab only exists with the libraries in the users folder. For any other folder you can use a symbolic link but you typically don't need to.
