Is it possible to buy a slipstreamed disk for Win XP 64 bit Professional edition incorporating SP2 (the 64 bit one?)

Microsoft isn't selling any OS asides from Windows 10. Of course you can get Windows 8 and 7 from some retailers, but Windows XP... You'll really have to do some digging and even eBay probably doesn't have any for sale.

Considering the CD itself doesn't actually matter (only the license key does), you can torrent the .iso, burn it to a blank CD and simply input your license number during or after installation in order to activate (which might not be necessary either since MS stopped supporting XP altogether).

Hope this helps

What I really mean, I guess, Is that I want somebody savvy enough (individual) to make it for me, not to buy it commercially. I'll pay any reasonable price and provide the Win XP 64 bit Pro original disk with its code number and the SP2 64 bit file.

Hi

There are a number of sites explaining how to do this for standard XP (32bit version) it should not be significantly more difficult for 64 bit XP or Windows server 2003

http://winsupersite.com/article/windows-xp2/slipstreaming-windows-xp-with-service-pack-3-sp3-128464

or for 64 bit version
https://neosmart.net/blog/2007/windows-xp-x64-service-pack-2-released/

have you tried to do this your self and failed?

Have you tried installing XP 64 bit then adding 64 bit device drivers (motherboard, network , graphics etc) then installing SP2 ( or possibly SP1 then SP2)?

It would also be interesting to know why you need to continue using XP (32 or 64 bit versions) long after updates & bug fixes are no longer available

is your PC hardware old (2001 to 2009 when XP was on sale) or newer ?
If modern PC hardware does it support Windows XP 64 or Win 2003 server

If an old motherboard it maybe worn out (capacitors about to fail)

what country are you in if you wanted to post a XP CD ?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Although reasonably computer literate, I have had not had much luck trying to create the slipstream disk or any other ISO disks.

I have 4 computers set up in different locations, with Win XP 64 bit Professional edition (+SP2) and 16 GB of ram, all on Gigabyte M55SLI-S4 motherboards which have modified (by me) north/southbridge cooling fans (a weak part of that board) running AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.6 GHZ CPUs.
I also have 2 spare MoBOs with same CPUs.
Plus I am 73 years old and don't feature having to learn a new OS, as XP is adequate for my needs, and, to me anyway, one of the most stable versions of Windows I've used.
I really see no need to upgrade at this time, but would like to have a slipstreamed disk to repair a few HDs that I have with corrupted Windows, and any future ones that may need it.
I am in New Jersey in the US.

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Tom

Thanks, Mike.
