Is it possible to clone raid 1 disks

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CLONE RAID 1 DISKS....I HAVE TWO 500GB DISKS RUNNING RAID 1 AND I WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE TO TWO 1TB DISKS....ANY SOFTWARE THAT WILL DO IT?

1. Break the RAID
2. Clone 1 disk to the new, larger disk
3. Install both new disks
4. Rebuild the RAID

If your new drives didn't come with software then there are several free solutions that will do the job.
