And if so, how?

I am running a windows 8.1 professional system and wanting to use this sandisk connect as a wireless bridge (May be using the wrong term) as my machine is normally hardwired. Essentially want to use it to connect my pc to the hotells wireless so I can access work and my communication tools.

Solution
if i am reading it corct, it is a usb 2.0 storage device with a wifi adapter

never used one in my life

should work it is the product they are offering

however, it is easier to have a nano adapter, like the tp link nano, it has a really small size, this sandisk is like a usb stick, is big, it is not that desirable to have all times connected to the laptop
