Is it possible to connect D-Link DSL-2750U Wireless N ADSL2 4-Port Wi-Fi Router with non ADSL broadband line?

Hi Guys

I have bought the D-Link DSL-2750U Wireless N ADSL2 4-Port Wi-Fi Router online. Could you please tell me is it possible to connect this router with non ADSL internet provider. This will connect with phone line broadband but I don’t know about non phone line broadband connection. If it is possible could you please tell me the procedure.

Yes, phone line broadband's are of ADSL type and you can connect it fine.

No. cable broad bands require DSL routers. Telephone line broad bands are of ADSL type.

May be. I can't find anything in their website. Also, I saw some netgear routers allowing conversion between ADSL and DSL and that too a very long and complex process. I guess, you have to get a new router :/ You've bought it through flipkart, am I right?
