Is it possible to convert usb3 to a usb2

I am looking into upgrading my motherboard which has usb3.0 on it. I also want to use my existing case which has usb 2.0 on the front panel is there a way to convert usb3.0 to work with my front panel usb2.0?

Your MoBo will undoubtedly have USB2 as well as USB3 connections....use thge USB 2 for the front panel port.

Well thanks for the information .But after I had researched a little more into my choice of the MoBo the website mentioned it having USB3.0 on it and actually it is still at the USB 2.0 .So I have no need of the modification. The parts arrived last week and WOW I have a six core screamer now. Beats the single core snail I had been using for the past 7 years. Thanks for your assistance.
