Question Is it possible to disable just only the trackpad of the Laptop?

Is it possible to disable just only the trackpad of the Laptop? With the Keyboard working...
In our old laptop, The TrackPad is not properly working, better disable it. How to do that? Possible. Thanks.

Just use some pieces of electrical tape, this tape is removable and leaves no trace.
