Is it possible to fix an amd cpu pin that's fallen off by putting it in the motherboard socket?

I have an a6-5400k that has a cpu pin that has fallen off. I was wondering if it's possible to fix it by taking the pin and inserting into the socket, and then putting the cpu in. This is for a secondary pc, so it is by no means urgent. Thanks.

Hahahah!
I have never even considered doing something like that, I always assumed if a pin snapped it's goodbye cpu.
However, if you can get enough pressure on the heatsink and force the cpu to make contact with pin, it should prob work.
Wouldn't hurt to try. If it fails turn you mobo upside down to get it back out I guess.
Good luck with the bush fix, I would be interested if you get it working or not.
