Lol if I were a fanboy, again, why would I have 3 6950s?

I agree....I had hi hopes for the 560-448 but the factory OC'd 560 Ti's are just to damn good fo th 560-448 to make sense on a price / performance basis. The factory OC's 560s with robust VRM;s and a=improved coolers have been OC's 30+%

http://www.pureoverclock.com/review.php?id=1201&page=17

OC'd just 9.5 % (outta the box factory OC'd 900 MHz models), they get 862 fps in Guru3D's game test suite..... that compares with 873 fps for the 570's, 759 fps for twin 6950s and 825 fps for twin 6970's.

As to the OP's original question < $200, the 6870 offers the best price performance ratio at 39 cents per frame as a single card and 49 cents per frame in CF. The 900 Mhz 560 Ti is just a bit higher at 43 cents per frame (single card) and 50 cents in SLI....following is from Guru3D's game test suite

$ 170.00 6870 (434/701) $ 0.39 - $ 0.49
$ 220.00 6950 (479/751) $ 0.46 - $ 0.59
$ 260.00 6950 Frozr OC (484/759) $ 0.54 - $ 0.69
$ 205.00 560 Ti (455/792) $ 0.45 - $ 0.52
$ 320.00 6970 (526/825) $ 0.61 - $ 0.78
$ 215.00 560 Ti - 900 Mhz (495/862) $ 0.43 - $ 0.50
$ 340.00 570 (524/873) $ 0.65 - $ 0.78
$ 500.00 580 (616/953) $ 0.81 - $ 1.05

It seem there is much Nvidia INTEL biased around most places TH included so when I was getting attacked by multiply members at once by my stating the fact that the poor crummy old Radeon HD 6770s in CFX perform just as well as GTX 580 I just jumped to a conclusion. I hope that BD gets its stuff all worked out because I need an upgrade path in the next couple of years and without AMD/RADEON around Intel/Nvidia will run prices into the sky for *** hardware.

Ok, you've made a good point there. I've used Windwos 8 beta on my computer, adn I get so much better performance with it.

Only used one benchmark program on it, but that saw 30% increase (Passmark Benchmarks)

I still stand by my second post that started all this animosity when I Stated the fact that "CrossfireX if you board supports it 2 6770 in CFX will perform like one GTX 580 or very close to it in BF3 and all in will cost you around 150 pounds for both."

I am on 8 as well and it is great.

I'm not seeing that.....the THG article you referenced has the 560-448 going from 732 to 860 or 17% OC

At stock voltages, we managed to hit an 860 MHz core frequency and 1050 MHz on the memory clock.

Here we see the 560 Ti hitting a 30% OC

http://www.pureoverclock.com/review.php?id=1201&page=17

I had hi hopes for the 560-448 but not at the price it was introduced at.....At $250, it would be a great but....at $290 - $315, the numbers aren't there, especialy for a "short-life" card. I'm concerned that buying one today may result in disappointment when there's none available 3 months from now.. Here's the 560 Ti (900Mhz) and the 560-448 compared (Guru3D Game test suite) "outta the box"

COD-MW - 134 / 133
Bad Company 2 - 51 / 58
Dirt 2 - 72 / 78
Far Cry 2 - 88 / 87
Metro 2033 26 / 27
Dawn of Discovery - 73 / 77
Total - 444 / 460

That's a total of 444 fps for the 900 Mhz 560 Ti ($215) or $0.48 per frame and 460 fps for the 560-448 ($290) or $0.63 per frame ...... Again, at those speeds the 560-448 has 17% overclocking room and the 560 has 19%

Agreed and being that most 560 ti cards like the msi TFZII reach 1ghz OC routinely so to me at $300 for a 448 is no good at all when in reality if most people can drop $300 on a single card then they can and should drop another 30 bucks on a GTX 570 for a much better value over 448.

Does the OP want to OC?

Wheres your benchmarks for this?

Have not seen any benchmarks for your GTX 580 killer 6770 CF set up in BF3 , if you don't have the facts or benches to prove it at least keep your dignity in check

Quoted from me from my first post about this "CrossfireX if you board supports it 2 6770 in CFX will perform like one GTX 580 or very close to it in BF3 and all in will cost you around 150 pounds for both."

Well this bench is not BF3 but it is an NTWIMTBP title and still very demanding game even today. http://www.guru3d.com/article/his-radeon-6770-iceqx-turbo-crossfire-review/12

You can't even provide any BF3 benches to prove your statements.........FAIL!

Nobody benched CFX 6770 in BF3 and where is the 1:1 scaling Nvidias SLI lol and quit being so fickle because Nvidia is not at the top of the pile today.

nVidia sort of is, as they do have the single most powerful GPU atm, but to be fair AMD has better multi-GPU scaling atm (Why I went for 6950s) and so do deserve a fair mention. But the 6770 CF isn't quite at the level of 580, becuae 6970 is only around 570 territory.

why are you attacking me could it be that you never provided any proof that my claims were false and Nvidia is not doing so hot as of late and you don't like to admit it plus my suggestion to the OP still stands as the best option for his budget and still far and away outperforms a single GTX 560ti.

It is a good option, but remembering the power consumption? The guy who mentioned that actually showed consumption of a 560Ti and 2x 6670, I beleive... 6770 have a higher consumption. If the guy's PSU has enough power for them, then no doubt, although 2 550Tis would be a similarly good option, yes?

if the 25watts more at peak for the 6770s over a 560ti break you PSU then it never ran the 560ti in the first place LOL 25watts.

Plus in reality the 6070 is closing the gap and is currently trading blow with the 580 with each new Driver iteration.

I think you missed my point. the guy showed the consumption of 6670s. if the 5xxx series are anything to go by, 6770 uses a good 50w more power than 6670, and two mean another 100w.

I'm not attacking you at all , you are making a fool of yourself, you are making false claims about something you have no proof of, there are no 6770 CF benchmarks for BF3 anywhere to be seen, so making false claims that it beats a 580 is a FAIL , like when you said that 6770 CF uses less power than a 560ti , the fact was it uses 25 Watts more than 6770 CF.....again a FAIL!

Next you will be claming Milli Vanilli are making a comeback....Nuff said!

What he showed was CFX 6770 power consumption was 24 watts more at max load on the GPU lol.
