[SOLVED] Is it possible to have dual monitors using only iGPU?

I have an i3-6100, not sure what my MOBO is but at the back it has a DVI-D and a VGA port. My main monitor is on the VGA port. I connected a second monitor to the DVI-D using a VGA to DVI-D adapter but it does not seem to detect the second monitor. Is it even possible in the first place?

some motherboard can. read the manual. could be the adapter too.
