is it possible to install 32nm cpu instead of a 22nm cpu?

I want to upgrade my laptop it currently has a celeron 1000m cpu, the socket is g2, so i found out that socket g2 supports processor i5 2430m, but this processor is manufactured with 32nm Lithography while the celeron has the newer 22nm, can this cause a problem, should i choose another cpu which is 22nm

Should work fine, you might need to reinstall windows though. I had this issue with my laptop when I upgraded my celeron. I recommend using a key finder so you can enter it if you need to reinstall.

Should work fine, you might need to reinstall windows though. I had this issue with my laptop when I upgraded my celeron. I recommend using a key finder so you can enter it if you need to reinstall.
