Is it possible to install a cpu fan with push pins into a motherboard that has screw holes?

I have this pre-built HP that needs a new cpu fan, so I ordered a fan but I did not notice that it has push pins. Is It possible to install the new fan? I tried but I could not get the pins into the hole.

what model of hp is it? because if you want you can buy the whole new assembly heat sink and fan if you want and did you just ordered a random fan or did you search up the original fan model number of the one you replacing?

I searched up lga 775 CPU fans. Anyways I got it to work, I took out the screws from the old fan and then I took out the plastic pins from the new fan and swapped them.
