Is it possible to install windows on a non-bootable version of P420m pci-e drive(MTFDGAR1T4MAX-1AG1ZABYY)?
The boot ability is considered a "extended firmware feature" in micron's datasheet. So I assume, with the boot partition set onto another disk(e.g. another sata hard disk) so the os will only boot from it then load system files from the pci-e ssd,it may be possible to install windows on a non-bootable P420m and make it work.
But I'm also concerned that the installation disk may not recognize the SSD at the beginning , or system may not boot successfully due to driver issues.
It's hard for me to gain access to a bootable version(MTFDGAR1T4MAX-1AG13ABYY) at the time.So I want to know the answer,or better, have anyone already tried this? Thanks.
