Is It possible to make a camera lens using magnifying glasses?

lenses are too expensive. and since I'm done with my PC rig project. is it possible too use magnifying glasses for homemade camera lens? or a telescope then make it lens?
really want to have a 200 with f1.2 lens but if you buy it here in my place it will cost too much. you can even buy a black magic pocket cinema in US with the lens price here (exagurated price right?)
is there anyway to make a DIY lens or can I modify my 50mm 3.5-f5.6 lens? or is it better to buy an f1.4 pancake lens then I make a DIY tele converter?
