i didnt know what to do with my spare ssd so i thought if i merge my 60 gb ssd with my 1tb hdd will it make the hdd faster?

any data on the HDD is still going to depend on the disk's rotational speed and the amount of wear it may have suffered over time for it's read/write speeds.

can i use the ssd for readyboost?there is software like Intel Rapid Storage Technology that can make use of an SSD to load applications that are commonly used and that are installed on an HDD, but being that this SSD is only 60GB you probably wouldn't notice much improvement if any.
I've only heard of ReadyBoost being effective if you're using the minimal required RAM to run Windows.can i use the ssd for readyboost?
