Is it possible to move parts from a prebuilt Workstation

Could I move all the parts from one of the new HP Z8 G4 Workstation's into a custom pc case. metaphorically lets say the pc has the specs from this page. http://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/workstations-z8/index.html

Can it be done?

If all you are doing is moving the parts to a new case but keeping all the "computer parts" the same i don't see it not working. but if you try to upgrade like using that hard drive with windows installed to a new Mobo and Cpu it most likely wont work due to licensing with pre-builts and Microsoft. but if your just changing cases you should be fine.

It has certain odd size parts like the motherboard and psu that won't fit into a standard case without modifications.
