Is it possible to overclock a older Dell?

Guys,
I have an older XPS T500 Dell with a p3 500 slot 1. I looked into the BIOS and they have locked it so I cant do anything with it. Is it possible to unlock and overclock this puppy? I am just trying to get some more life out of it. I am too broke to build a new PC being in college and all. Thanks!

If it's the Coppermine core PIII, you might be able to overclock it to 667MHz at 133FSB by taping off a pin, but I doubt that's what you have. You can use a soft overclocker such as SoftFSB or CPUCool (softFSB actually has settings for some Dell boards), but won't get far. OR you can replace the CPU with a faster one.
