Is it possible to pair i7 5500u with gtx 1050 ti?

I want to know if it's possible to get decent gameplay on aaa titles by pairing old 5th generation intel i7 5500u processor with gtx 1050 ti. I am going to use a pci connector to do so. Bottleneck calculator shows an average bottleneck of 15% by the gpu.
Is it going to be fair, or should i instead choose gtx 1050?

That's a notebook low power CPU FCBGA1168 which means it's soldered direct to a mobo, how are you going to connect it to a graphics card?
