Hi.

Does anyone know if it's possible to put a password on a flash drive or an external hard drive without encrypting it?

I realize that not encrypting it would mean that the flash drive or external hard drive might still be able to be accessed, but I think a password would be enough of a deterrent for most people.

Thank you.

Some brands of drives have software for it. Also some versions of windows have Bitlocker. I'm assuming there are many other ways. Hopefully someone has a better answer. I've been wanting to try it also.
