Is it possible to play games while browsing the web on another screen?

I'm looking for a way to play games on one screen while browsing the web on another without having to alt-tab out of the game. Is this possible or is it just a pipe dream?

Any help would be appreciated.

Most games allow you to choose windowed mode in the graphics settings and most of the times you can just move the mouse out of the game window without alt+tab.

This is not possible when you play with a controller as i do.

I want to play games such as cod with a controller on one screen while browsing the web on another screen with mouse + keyboard. without having to pause the game or alt-tab out.

unfortunately you cant by the windows design. You lose focus from one window as soon as you click on to next one.
