Is it possible to put a slide show of images on a Thumb drive than plug it into a TV and play the slideshow?

We have a 60inch TV attached to a window so customers can see it and we want to add a slideshow of images on a thumb drive and plug that thumb drive into the TV so it can play them and people can see it. Is this possible? I really do not want to buy another PC dedicated to the TV just to play a simple slideshow.

Solution
That completley comes down to if your TV supports it or not. If the TV has a USB port then it likely does but you would have download TV manual to find out how.

A fairly inexpensive option if your TV lacks that feautre is to buy and seutp a raspberry pi (tiny credit card sized linux computer) and hook it up to the TV. Pi + Case + Power Suppy + microSD card will run about $60 USD.

You can likely find quite a few old devices like phones or other things that could do this for you as well.

Probably.
It depends on media type your TV can play.
If you converted your slideshow into video, then no problem. Plug it in and play.
