Is it possible to record your pc gameplay using another pc resources

Hi l have got 2 computers my desktop which has an 8a-7670k processer with an R7 260 graphics card.I'm having some trouble recording games at even 720p 30 fps while in a game.Then l herd of a thing where u can use another computer to record gameplay.I have a mac book with a i5 1.6GHS
cpu.is it possible to load the game from my desktop while also record it from my mac at the same time?

Technically, I believe it is. The other computer would have to be a desktop, though.

Take a look at the Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4k. You basically hook an HDMI cable into that card, and it can pass the signal along to the monitor while also recording it.

That Blackmagic is a PCI-Express adapter card, and you can't use it on your laptop (MacBook or not).

There are some USB-based "Game Capture" devices, but I am not sure whether they will work on MacOS.

Hence the "you will need a desktop".

The USB cards really don't work terribly well from what I've heard. It might be enough to get your toes wet, but I wouldn't spend very much on one.

hay can l just stream it from steam and then capture it from my mac? Would that be possible? and whould the cpu from my mac be capable to record it 30fps on 720p?

The Mac might be able to keep up. The main issue I would worry about is thermal throttling when it's subjected to such a heavy sustained workload.

The easiest way to find out is to simply try it.

Desktop. Get a desktop. That way if streaming doesn't work, you can simply throw the recording card in rather than buying a fourth computer.
