Question Is it possible to remove a power switch from a case?

I have a Dell optiplex 990 motherboard and I want to get a case but in pretty sure the power switch won't fit in my motherboard so I want to buy a Dell optiplex 990 power switch and replace the power switch from the case. Is it possible to remove a power switch from the case without damaging the case?

Do you know what kind of switch the case has?

If you research that or ask Dell what to get you might be able to find just the switch and buy that. That would mean no hassle of buying the case and salvaging the switch from it in the first place.
