I kindly ask for an answer. Motherboard seeems to be broken and although I know something about computers, I could not fix it.

Therefore, before throwing it away, I decided to take out some parts that I would probably be able to use in the future:

• 8,192 (4,096 + 4,096) MB, DDR3 RAM (1,333 MHz) -

However, I have a question about the possibility of removing the Intel® Core ™ i7-2640M Processor from the motherboard.

if it would be socketed, then you could remove it, but looking at mainboard pictures, its BGA..which is like glued to mainboard
